Mother-daughter duo shot dead in UP

A 40-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter were allegedly shot dead by unidentified persons in civil lines area here, police said today.

The bodies of mother-daughter duo were recovered from a farm near Saraidayanat village this morning, Circle Officer Shivraj Singh said.

The investigation was underway, he said, adding that efforts were being made to identify the victims.
