Mother, son killed in UP bike accident

Two members of a family were killed and another seriously injured when their motorcycle was hit by a jeep, police said today.

The accident took place near Fatehganj trisection of Badausa town yesterday evening. The driver of the jeep fled the scene leaving the vehicle behind.

While Shiv Kumari (40) and her son Raghvendra (22) died on the spot, her daughter Shiv Kanti (18) suffered serious injuries and was admitted to the district hospital, police said. The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination.
