Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed deep sorrow over the passing away of the spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohra community Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin.
Dr Syedna (102) died after a cardiac arrest in Mumbai today.
Besides Chouhan, state unit Congress president Arun Yadav, the Leader of Opposition in state Assembly Satyadev Katare have also condoled Dr Syedna's death.

Chouhan said Dr Syedna had played a pivotal role in setting up a large number of educational institutions in the country with generous contribution from Bohra community.
Other leaders recalled his contribution towards ensuring peace and progress in the country.
Madhya Pradesh Muslim Educational Society president and former minister Mohammad Ibrahim Qureshi has also expressed his grief.
