MP:JHA files complaint of land grabbing against Ajay Singh

Prabhat alleged that Ajay and his brother Abhimanyu Singh had illegally grabbed the land of Kol tribals, measuring around two hectares, at their ancestral village Sada in Churhat tehsil of Sidhi district.

Talking to reporters after filing the complaint, the state BJP chief alleged that the Congress leader misused his (the then) official position as Minister for "encroaching" upon the land of tribals in connivance with officials.

Though the land was still registered in the name of tribal persons, they were not living there, he said.

Jha said that he had already filed a complaint in this regard with the State ST Commission.

 

"After getting more evidence, today we are filing the complaint with Lokayukta, demanding registration of case against Ajay and his family members."

To a question why BJP, despite being in power for over eight years, raised the issue only now, Jha said the matter came to light only recently.
