Members of Parliament and Union Ministers today paid homage to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 123rd birth anniversary at the Central Hall of Parliament House.
Deputy chairperson of the Rajya Sabha P J Kurien led the parliamentarians in paying floral tributes at the portrait of Ambedkar, an official statement said.
A booklet containing the profile of Ambedkar, brought out by the Lok Sabha Secretariat in Hindi and English, was presented to the dignitaries, it said.

The Secretaries-General of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, P Sreedharan and Shumsher K Sheriff respectively, were among those who paid floral tributes.
Ambedkar's portrait was unveiled in the Central Hall by former prime minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh on April 12, 1990.
