Municipal worker shot at in Ludhiana

A municipal worker was shot at and seriously wounded by two motorcycle-borne youths at Luxmi Nagar colony here today, police said.

Vishal Kumar is a Safai Karmchariwith the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, police said.

He was rushed to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital here.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Dhruman Nimble said the attackers have been identified.

"It is a case of personal enmity. A case has been registered and further investigations were under progress," he said.
