Murder case: Court awards life sentence to accused

A local court here has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for killing an eight-year-old boy in the district seven years ago.

Additional District Sessions Judge Arvind Rai has also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000on the accused Deepak after holding him guilty under section 302 of IPC yesterday.

Kartik was shot dead by the accusedover old enmity with his family at Bhora Khurd village in the district on March 8, 2009.
