Music Academy gives Rs.25 lakh for flood relief

The Music Academy here has contributed Rs.25 lakh to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund towards flood relief and rehabilitation efforts.

An eminent institution promoting performing arts here, it has also set apart funds for direct assistance to musicians and artistes badly hit by floods, Academy President N Murali said here today in a press release.

Such aid "will be disbursed soon after a proper assessment," he said.
