A 25-year-old Myanmarese national, who was working as a cook at a dhaba, was allegedly shot dead by his co-worker in southwest Delhi's Uttam Nagar today.
Inayat was shot dead by the co-worker, who is in his 20s, because he was "jealous" of the former, police said.
The accused had been fired from the job and he suspected Inayat's involvement in it since latter's cooking skills were considered better, they said. This was the second time that the accused had been fired from the job.

Last night, he came to the dhaba to talk about his job but Inayat asked him to come the next day and talk to the owner, police said.
He decided to stay for the night at the dhaba and this morning when he woke up, he got into an argument with Inayat and shot him in the back, they added.
Inayat was rushed to the hospital where he was declared as brought dead, they said.
The accused fled from the spot, leaving the weapon behind which has been seized.
While the accused is yet to be caught and the reason for the sudden quarrel yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the he was nursing a grudge against Inayat, police said.
