NCST VC meets Guv, discuss implementation of schemes for SC's

Ravi Thakur, Vice Chairman, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, today met KeralaGovernor Justice (Retd) P Sathasivam and discussed matters related to the implementation of various schemes for Scheduled Tribes.

The Vice Chairman, who also met A K Balan, Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes today, said a report on the progress of implementation of schemes would be forwarded soon, a Raj Bhavan press release said.

The Governor assured him that all welfare and benefit schemes meant for Scheduled Tribes will be implemented fully by the state government.
