Nearly four lakh children will be vaccinated in the next 4 months in Rajasthan under the Central government's scheme 'Mission Indradhanush' launched here by state health minister Rajendra Rathore today.
Rathore said that nine districts of Rajasthan are among 201 districts in India which have been identified as districts with low immunisation.
The campaign, which started today, will be run all over the state including the nine districts of Dholpur, Karauli, Sawaimadhopur, Bundi, Tonk, Alwar, Barmer, Jaipur and Jodhpur, he said.

The programme provides immunisation against seven life-threatening diseases, the minister said, adding, the campaign will continue for seven days.
The programme will be carried out for seven days each in the month of April, May, June and July, he said.
The minister said that the programme was intended to expand immunisation coverage to 90 per cent children by 2020 which in the state is 74.2 per cent as per the annual health survey of 2012-13.
