Days after the terror attack at Pathankot Air Force base in Punjab, Haryana minister Anil Vij today said that there was a strong need to stop the business of drugs in order to "stop militants".

"First drugs come then militants. To stop militants it is necessary that stern steps be taken to stop the business of drugs," the state Health Minister tweeted.

Congress had already been raising its voice against the menace of drugs in Punjab.

After Dina Nagar terror attack in July last year, Punjab became the target of terrorists once again as they attacked the country's strategic air base in Pathankot in which six militants were killed.
