Nepali citizen arrested with four kg charas in Shimla

A Nepali citizen was arrested for illegal possession of about four kg of charas here Tuesday, the police said.

The accused was identified as Aas Bahadur, a permanent resident of Gehri village in Rukkam district of Nepal, Shimla Superintendent of Police Omapati Jamwal said.

An FIR was registered under section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against him at Dhalli police station.

Further investigation is on, he added.
