Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of

Gangetic West Bengal and West Uttar Pradesh. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Gujarat, Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra; appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu and of north interior Karnataka and were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal Karnataka and Kerala and in remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 6.2 C has been recorded at Ganganagar (west Rajasthan) in the plains of the country.
