NMC chief fire officer slapped with Rs 1 lakh fine

Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has slapped Rs one lakh fine on civic body's chief fire officer Anil Mahajan for indiscipline and dereliction of duty.

The civic chief has also suspended a senior clerk, posted in the New Nashik division, a wireman, and a peon, the civic body said in a release.

The senior clerk is identified as Sampat Bhalerao while the wireman and the peon as Sanjay Pagar and Dattatreya Pol, respectively.
