Obama decries 'tragic and appalling attack' in Nice

President Barack Obama today decried the deadly truck attack in Nice as a "tragic and appalling" on freedom and pledged firm US support for France.

He promised once again to "destroy" the Islamic State group, all while "staying true to our values, values of pluralism and rule of law and diversity and freedoms... The very freedoms that the people of Nice were celebrating last night on Bastille Day.
