Old age pension for fishers hiked in Puducherry

The monthly assistance for aged fishermen in the Union Territory has been increased from June this year, the AINRC Government announced today.

Local Administration and Fisheries Minister G.Panneerselvam in a release here said that as per orders of Chief Minister N Rangasamy, the assistance had been increased to various age categories with the rise ranging from Rs 420 to nearly Rs 2,000.
