One arrested, illegal liquor seized

A man was arrested today for allegedly transporting illegal liquor worth Rs 2.5 lakh in Jalore district.

Kamlesh was arrested after his truck was intercepted by a police team following a tip-off, police said.

Thirty-seven cartons of illegal liquor manufactured in Haryana, being taken to Gujarat, were seized, they said, adding the accused has been booked under the Excise Act.
