One person was killed and a small grocer shop was destroyed in a fire today at Bankra in Howrah district.
The police said Sk Bader (40) was burnt to death in the fire that spread to his home near the grocer shop at Munsi Danga Dakshin para early this morning.
The locals spotted the fire at about 2 am and informed the police. The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained, officials said.
