Over 100 sovereigns of gold ornaments stolen from co-op bank

The burglars had gained entry into the Residential Association Co-operative Society Bank at Pangode area by cutting open the window bars with a gas cutter and also used it to break open the lockers, they said.

However, police did not give the exact value of the stolen ornaments.

The co-operative society has claimed that at least 130 sovereigns of ornaments were stolen.
