Overcast conditions prevailed in the national capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 8 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal for this time of the season.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 23.2 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, a MeT Department official said.
The humidity levels oscillated between 97 and 53 per cent.

Foggy conditions were witnessed in the several parts of the city which affected the visibility as it was recorded 500 meters at 5.30 AM and decreased further to 300 meters at 8.30 AM. It was recorded 700 meters at 11.30 AM after which it improved to 1000 meters at 2.30 PM.
The MeT department has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow as well. According to weather officials, light rains may occur on 8th or 9th due to western disturbance.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. Moderate to dense fog would occur in some parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 24 and 8 degrees respectively," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 22.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius.
