Painting Competition to mark World Disability Day

In the competition 'Ehasas Finger Art', claimed to be the biggest ever event dedicated to special children in Rajasthan, eminent cartoonist Sudhir Tailang motivated the children.

This competition was dedicated to Special, Slum and Thalassemic children.

The main competition was held at Dussehra Maidan in the city where approximately 6,000 children participated.

A live streaming of glimpses from other parts of the state, where children did the painting, was also arranged and guests got to see students drawing paintings in different areas of the state under the programme held jointly by Airtel and other organisations.

Sudipto Chowdhury, CEO-Rajasthan Bharti Airtel said that Live show of the competition held in Udaipur, Jodhpur, Alwar, Chomu, Bikaner, Chaksu and others were organised by the company.

 

"The main concern was to motivate children for their hidden creativity. As per the data of the entries received, the event is expected to be the part of 'Limca Book of Records', said Moni Sharma, who coordinated the event.

Mayor Jyoti Khandelwa, MLA Pratap Singh Khachariyawas were among others present on the occasion.

The competition was divided into three age groups of 5 years, 5 to 8 years and 8 to 12 years and winners were awarded in the function.
