Pak court sentences man to 25 yrs in jail for raping daughter

A Pakistani court today handed down 25 years imprisonment to a man for raping his minor daughter.

Additional Sessions and District Judge Lahore Ghulam Abbas Sial also imposed a fine of Rs 35,000 on the convict.

According to FIR, convict Rahmat Ali, a labourer, had raped his seven-year-old daughter about a year ago.

His wife had caught him red-handed at their house in a thickly-populated area of Batapur and shifted the victim to hospital.

She informed the police and got a case registered against her husband.
