Panelia rescued from a house in Howrah district

A Panelia, an endangered specie of animal was rescued from a house in Howrah district, a forest officer said today.

Divisional Forest Officer (Howrah) Mazhedar Rehman said the Panelia which is an endangered specie was rescued from a house in Domjur area of the Howrah district.

Six persons have been arrested for trading in the endangered Panelia, the DFO added.
