Pankaj Advani ousts Aditya Mehta to reach final

Pankaj Advani drubbed his Indian compatriot Aditya Mehta to ease into the final of the Asian 6 Red Snooker Championship 2016 being played in Abu Dhabi.

Advani dropped only one frame after taking a commanding 5-0 lead before trouncing Mehta 6-1 in their semi final clash.

The 30-year-old Bengaluru-based cue ace will meet Keen Hoo Moh of Malaysia, who got the better of Mohammed Rais Senzhahi of Afghanistan 6-3 in the other semi final match, in the summit clash.

Semi final results:

Moh Keen Hoo beat Mohammed Rais Senzahi 6-3 (41-9, 0-67(46), 1-46, 51-17, 72(72)-0, 0-50, 50-0, 41-7,67-0).

Pankaj Advani beat Aditya Mehta 6-1 (37-21, 48(48)-0, 34-0, 45(40)-5, 72(72)-0, 0-59(59), 49(40)-0).
