Singer Papon, who has recorded a song about the river Brahmaputra with Amitabh Bachchan, has invited the megastar to visit his native state, Assam.
The theme song of the Namami Brahmaputra, a river festival, has been launched.
Besides Bachchan and Papon, Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal, Shankar Mahadevan, Subha Mudgal, Zubeen Garg and others have lent their voices to the song.
"Humbled by your gestures my lovely music fraternity and @SrBachchan ji. Please come to Assam soon. Forever grateful!" Papon tweeted.
The song has been penned in Assamese and Hindi and composed by Papon, who hails from Assam.
