Pedro Pascal to star in 'If Beale Street Could Talk'

"Game of Thrones" star Pedro Pascal has joined the cast of Barry Jenkins' drama "If Beale Street Could Talk".

The 42-year-old actor will star in the film which also includes KiKi Layne, Stephan James, Colman Domingo, Brian Tyree Henry, Dave Franco, Ed Skrein, and Regina King, reported Variety.

The film is based on James Baldwin's novel and is about a woman in Harlem desperately trying to prove her fiances innocence for a crime while carrying their first child.

The "Moonlight" director is adapting the novel for the big screen.

The project is being financed and produced by Annapurna Pictures along with Plan B and Jenkins' Pastel.
