Police arrests undertrial prisoner who escaped from custody

An under trial prisoner who escaped from police custody while being taken to jail from court in South 24 Parganas district was today arrested, police said.

Saddam Hussein who escaped from police custody yesterday while being taken to Diamond Harbour jail was arrested while he was trying to flee to Parthapratima, police said.
