Police cracks Faridabad loot case, recovers Rs 70 lakh

With the arrest of two persons, the police today claimed to have cracked a case of robbery, in which a Haryana trader was looted of Rs 1.25 crore on March 14.
According to SSP Nitin Tewari, two Haryana police constables Sanjiv and Naresh, along with the driver of the trader Ravi, had planned the robbery in Faridabad.
Ravi was arrested by the police and during questioning, he revealed that the money was with Sanjiv's mother Chandravati.
The police raided Chandravati's house and recovered Rs 70 lakh of the looted amount, the SSP said, adding that efforts are on to nab Sanjiv and Naresh, who are still at large.
