Police probe into businessman's complaint of gun attack

Kolkata police have started a probe into the complaint of a businessman alleging gun attack by some unknown persons while returning from a night club in the wee hours today.

According to a police officer, Salt Lake-based businessman Sukhbir Singh today lodged a complaint with Shakespeare Sarani Police Station.

Singh has alleged that while he was returning from a night club with his friends, around four miscreants in a car blocked their vehicle and fired at him near J D Birla College at about 3AM, he said.

An investigation has been initiated into the matter but nobody was arrested, he said.
