Policeman injured in mob violence

Demanding immediate release of Mustaffa Khan, the father of the accused, the protesters blocked the road at Rajendra Prasad roundabout here and broke wind screens of about ten vehicles, causing injury to a policeman, Deputy Inspector General of Police Praveen Kumar said.

A police posse was deployed at the spot to prevent further violence.
