Potato prices rose 1.64 per cent to Rs 1,449 per quintal in futures trading today as speculators enlarged positions on robust spot demand.
Besides, less arrivals from producing regions supported the upside.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, potato for delivery in July climbed Rs 23.40, or 1.64 per cent, to Rs 1,449 per quintal in a business turnover of 194 lots.
