PPA, Congress wins one seat each in Arunachal assembly polls

The People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) and the Congress today won one seat each in Arunachal Pradesh assembly election.

In Bordumsa-Diyun assembly constituency, Nikh Kamin of the People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) defeated sitting Congress MLA C C Singpho by 1328 votes.

In Dambuk assembly seat, Congress candidate Gum Tayeng won defeating BJP rival Rhoding Pertin by 1189 votes.

Congress retained the Dambuk seat.

Of the 60 assembly seats, Congress had won 11 seats unopposed.
