Prabhu calls on J&K Guv, discusses Jammu-Baramulla Railway

Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra here and discussed the completion of the Jammu-Baramulla Railway project.

Prabhu informed the Governor about the envisaged time frame for the completion of the Jammu-Baramulla Railway project, an official spokesman said.

He said the Union Minister also spoke to the Governor about the plans drawn up by his Ministry to enlarge the Railway network all over the country in the coming years, working the participation of state governments and Private Partnerships.

Vohra thanked Prabhu for his sustained attention towards advancing the state's interests on varied fronts, the spokesman said.
