Prabhu mistakenly attributes Gokhale's quote to Gandhi

Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu today mistakenly attributed the famous quote of Gopal Krishna Gokhale on West Bengal to Mahatma Gandhi.

"Gandhiji once said what Bengal thinks today, India thinks tomorrow," Prabhu said at a railway event while praising the past glory of the state and its potential to lead again from the front.

Prabhu said "We should not forget Gandhiji's saying on West Bengal and help the state in regaining its original prominence.
