Pranab's son Abhijit meets murdered TC leader's family

Congress MP from Murshidabad Abhijit Mukherjee, who is in charge of Birbhum district, went to Kharasole on Friday to meet the bereaved family of Ashok Ghosh, the Trinamool Congress leader who was shot dead on Monday.

"Ashok Ghosh was a family friend of us. It is a great shock for my entire family," Mukherjee, son of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, said.

"He used to visit our house at Kirnahar during Durgapuja every year. My father too knew him," Mukherjee said.
