Pregnant woman commit suicide

A pregnant woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a canal in Hanumangarh district, police said today.

The incident occurred yesterday in Sangaria area.

Victim Veerpal Kaur's father claimed that she was disturbed for some time as a local man Surendra Kumar used to call her frequently on mobile phone.

A case has been registered and the matter is being probed, the police added.
