President to attend IIT-Kanpur convocation on Jul 5

President Pranab Mukherjee will attend the 45th convocation of IIT-Kanpur on July 5, officials said today.

During the convocation ceremony, the President will also confer honoris causa degree of Doctorate of Science on Infosys executive chairman NR Narayana Murthy, IIT Kanpur director Indranil Manna and Physicist Prof Ashok Sen, the institute's Registrar said.

State Governor B L Joshi will also attend the convocation.
