President Pranab Mukherjee today wished the country for the forthcoming festivals of Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal.
"On the auspicious occasion of Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal, I extend warm greetings and good wishes to all citizens. May these harvest festivals bind the communities and regions of India in fraternal love and affection. May the festivals mark the commencement of an era of abundance, prosperity and new opportunities," the President said.
Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal will be celebrated on January 13, 14th and 15th respectively.
