Pressing for demands revenue staff go on strike

Demanding filling up of all vacancies in the revenue administration here, about 450 employees of the department went a day long "stay in strike" today.

Barring Tashildars and Revenue Inspectors, all the employees took part in the strike called by the Erode District Revenue Officials Association.

The striking employees, also demanded holding of conuselling for transfer of officials in the district.
