Prison inmate dies in hospital

A 65-year-old prison inmate, facing fraud charges, died at district hospital here, police said today.

Srikeshav complained of stomach ache Tuesday night and was admitted to the hospital where he died last night.

He was arrested on November 5 last year in connection with a fraud case, they said.

Jail Superintendent A K Sagar said that Srikeshav was not keeping well because of old age.
