Promising marriage property dealer rapes student

A property dealer has been booked for allegedly raping a 25-year-old girl on pretext of marriage in Malviya Nagar area here, police said today.

The girl, who is preparing for competitive exams here, yesterday lodged a complaint with the police that one Ravindra, 28, has been raping her for last seven years on the promise that he would marry her.

A case of rape and cheating has been registered against Ravindra, who is missing from his house, police said.
