Punjab: Interest-free festival loans for Class-IV employees

Punjab government has announced to give interest-free festival loans upto Rs 7,000 to its Class-IV employees during the curent financial year.

The facility can be availed till November 30, an official spokesperson said today, adding that a notification has been issued in this regard.

The spokesman further said that the loan can be repayed in seven equal instalments starting from December this year.

He said only the regular employees can avail this benefit.
