Railways, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh today registered big wins to qualify for the quarterfinals in the 8th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2018 (A Division) being played here today.
Railway Sports Promotion Board remained unbeaten in the Round Robin stage as they registered yet another massive win. This time it was a big 13-0 win against Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd, taking their total goals tally to a stunning 47 from four matches.
They advanced to the quarterfinals as Pool A toppers.

Hockey Punjab also advanced to the quarterfinals as they beat Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu 7-0. Hockey Punjab are placed second in Pool A which ensured them a place in the quarterfinals.
Hockey Haryana topped Pool B after registering a 10-1 win over Hockey Him, their fourth straight win in Round Robin stage.
In another Pool B match, Hockey Odisha held Hockey Karnataka to a 2-2 draw. Hockey Karnataka qualified for the quarterfinals by virtue of better goal difference to finish second in their pool above Hockey Odisha.
Hockey Madhya Pradesh scored a superb 8-0 win against Hockey Rajasthan to top Pool C.
In another Pool C match, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Assam Hockey 13-0 to enter the quarterfinals.
In a Pool D match, Association of Indian Universities beat Hockey Coorg 8-2.
