Press Trust of India Singapore

"Ranbir has said, whatever happens, he is going to get his father to dance," said IIFA co-director Sabbas Joseph at the opening press conference here today.

Other star performances at the awards gala on June 9 include Prabhu Deva, Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and Bipasha Basu.

IIFA is also celebrating Indian Cinema's 100 years this year and Rishi said the Kapoor family was proud to have contributed to 80 years in that.

"We are celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema, of which my family has contributed to 80 years. It began with my grandfather Pritviraj Kapoor, then my father Raj and uncles Shashi and Shammi, then me and my brothers. Now my son ranbir and neices Karishma and Kareena are carrying forward the legacy," said Rishi.

"And also my amazing wife Neetu Kapoor," Rishi added on public demand.
