Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat today announced that an insurance scheme for film actors as well as for the equipment used in movie making, will be formed soon in the state.
The insurance scheme would focus on two aspects. One would be life insurance of actors and the other to insure the equipment used by film technicians, in case of any damage, Rawat said at a meeting with Film Association members.
The association thanked the Chief Minister for implementing a 'film policy' in Uttarakhand.
Asserting that the state government is duty-bound for development of films, Rawat said Uttarakhand Film Development would be set up soon.
