Recipients of police protection in Maha owe Rs 80-cr to govt

Property seizure notices will be served over the next 15 days to those who have not paid for police protection in the state, Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil said here today.

"Almost Rs 80 crore is due from such defaulters," the minister said in reply to a query by BJP's Ashish Shelar and others in the Legislative Council.
