Prices of refined palmolein moved up further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained buying support from retailers and bulk consumers ahead of upcoming festivities.
On the other hand, groundnut oil held steady in the absence of any major moment demands from local consumers.
Elsewhere, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial also strengthened on the back of good export demand.
Linseed oil maintained its stable trend owing to lack of inquiries from paint industry.
Turning to edible segment, refined palmolein inched up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to 474 from overnight close of Rs 472, while groundnut oil finished unaltered at Rs 970 per 10 kg.
Among non-edibles, castorseeds bold edged higher by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 3,500 as compared to Friday's close of Rs 3,485 and castor oil commercial inched up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 730 from 727 earlier.
Linseed oil concluded unchanged at Rs 860 per 10 kg.
