The government transport corporations in Tamil Nadu have been directed to pay an interim relief of Rs 4000 to its retired employees who had not received their retirement benefits.
As many as 25846 persons would get the benefit.
The relief was being ordered following the direction from the Madras High Court which ordered interim relief for the workers whose retirement benefits had not been settled.
Those who had retired before June 30, would get the interim relief which would be deposited in their accounts.
