In a reshuffle in the IPS cadre of West Bengal, six officers were today transferred.
State Home Department officials said Joint Commissioner of Police (Headquarter), Barrackpore Commissionerate, Kallol Ganai has been asked to take over as DIG Murshidabad Range.
The Commandant, Special Striking Force, Barrackpore, Humayun Kabir has been transferred to Barrackpore Commissionerate as DC (Headquarter).
The SP Burdwan S M H Mirza has been asked to take over as Commandant Special Striking Force, Barrackpore.
The SP Jalpaiguri Kunal Agarwal would now take over as the SP Burdwan.
The DC (Traffic) Barrackpore Commissionerate Avvaru Rabindranath has been asked to take over as the SP Jalpaiguri.
The Commandant (EFR 2nd Battalion) Rathod Amit Kumar Bharat would now take over as DC (Traffic), Barrackpore Commissionerate, the officials added.
